The Columbia City Ballet has been a cultural rock in our community, dishing up world-class professional ballet with passion for 50 years! We are the largest performing arts organization in South Carolina, and contribute approximately $12 million for the local economy and $23 million for the state of South Carolina every 5 years. But we still need the support of our loyal friends and patrons each year to accomplish our goals of educating and entertaining audiences with the highest quality professional ballet and retaining talented dancers in our community. Please consider supporting our $50 for 50 Campaign and get your name listed on our special Contributors page in every program this season, reaching more than 42,000 patrons. As a contributor, you will also receive a tax donation letter and special invitations for VIP events this season.
Your $50 tax-deductible donation will assist the Columbia City Ballet with our special programming planned for this special 50th Anniversary Season. We do not recoup our expenses with ticket sales alone for the children of South Carolina in our Educational Outreach Series, but we refuse to cut this incredibly important program down. Your support helps ensure that children across our state will be able to include the EOP as an integral part of their arts education...and for many, as the only part of their arts education.
In this down economy, the arts tend to suffer more than the average company....but the arts are what keeps our community a vibrant place to live and work!
